Went there for the first time last week. First, the food. One of us had the fried shrimp over garlic noodles. The shrimp (only 3 medium size) were good I'm told. I tasted the noodles, very yummy!! I had the shrimp and sausage combo. Both were absolutely delicious. The portion were large enough that I took some home and had lunch the next day... still yummy. The last combo was snow crab and shrimp. I was told the crab was very good. How to describe the vibe? Dark room, painted black with black picnic tables covered with white butcher paper. It is clean and tidy. The music is a little loud which made conversations a little challenging. Will I be back? Heck ya. Good food and good value. All three meals were under $90. The waitress was very sweet and patient.

I am honestly very disappointed in myself for not ever trying the rockin' crawfish until today. Since last year, I've been driving past this place wanting to try it but never going in. The location is questionable, but I do believe as a local who was raised around the area, it adds character to the place. However, today changed that. My boyfriend and I were going to head somewhere else for our date night but we decided to stop by rockin' crawfish and honestly game changer. We thought it was going to be a long wait, but the place was pretty empty. There was just us and another group there. Our host/server Nelson was very kind and generous, he kept checking up on us to make sure we had everything and if we were satisfied with our food. He mentioned how there were many deals going on and recommended me the live crawfish instead of the frozen. He also mentioned the spice levels and what I should expect. My boyfriend who doesn't enjoy seafood boil as much as I do felt like he had more options to eat here than other places which was really nice to see. I ordered live crawfish, shrimp, egg, sausage, and potatoes with the rockin combo and spicy and it was so delicious. I was hesitant at first because I love seafood boil and the only place that I enjoyed was boiling crab, BUT that changed today. The shrimp were HUGE and the crawfish were just amazing. I was suppose to take pictures of the food, but I completely forgot to when I saw the food, hahaha. Nothing can top this place and for the price, you really do get your moneys worth. This place is just so underrated and honestly a hidden south sac gem. I love it. Definitely will be coming back again and telling others about this place! (:

A very good friend of mine introduced me to this place and I've been obsessed with it ever since. I've been here twice and I can't stop thinking of the food here! the decor is cute and is similar to those of other seafood boil places. I love the taste of the seafood boil they have here and their oysters and crab Rangoon are just as tasty. Less busy and packed like other seafood boil restaurants in the area but the quality and flavor are there. Our server is always friendly and comes around and checks on us fairly often. I've also brought others to try this place and I can't wait to go back for more!

We decided to come here as waitline for other crab boil restaurants were an hour wait. This restaurant was literally empty and we can't understand why. Seafood was market price and pretty reasonably. We were coincidentally there for happy hour and appreciated the $1 oysters. Sauce complimented perfectly and oysters tasted fresh!! We each opted for individual combos of shrimp head-on and crawfish with corn, rice, and sausage. We recommend getting at least 1.5 pounds of seafood as we left quite full. We've been to a couple cajun boil restaurants in the area, but this was the first time where we were charged for plastic gloves but offered free bibs? Flavor of the boil was definitely not the best but paired well with rice and sides. Service was a little disappointing as it felt as though we had to go out of our way to ask for things that would have automatically come with the food at any other crab boil restaurant. This includes salt/pepper, limes, gloves, extra sauces, etc. Regardless, our orders were taken and served quickly. Restaurant had a very casual setting and gave off hole in the wall vibes. Parking was not an issue and we recommend you at least give them a try!

Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon to a super quiet restaurant. Food and service was great. The store is really spacious and they have large tables which is good for larger parties. The staff was sooooo nice and friendly. My party of three ordered raw oysters, cream cheese wontons, 2 lb of shrimp, 1 lb of crawfish, and 1 garlic noodle. We also added potatoes and a boiled egg to our seafood. Everything was cooked to perfection. They even have happy hour ($1.25 raw oysters) which was so good. It came with a mignonette which I was obsessed with. I saved a bit of that to dip my seafood in and it was delicious. As for the seafood, we got the mild spicy with their combination sauce. We didn't think the sauce was that good which is why we only gave the restaurant 4 stars. Nothing really stood out. It could've been flavored better. Service was phenomenal. Servers were friendly and checked in often. Everything was cooked perfectly where the shells peeled smoothly. I would definitely revisit if I was in the area! There is limited parking though and the restaurant is located on a busy street so look out for it when you're otw!

We were craving our latest addiction, oysters. Stumbled across this spot. Treated very well by our server (forgot his name but he works F-Sun). You need to have good vibes to come in or you'll ruin the environment. It was giving "hole-in-the-wall" and charismatic service that reminded me of places in Asia. We ordered oysters!!!! $1.25 per OYSTER happy hour. So mf worth it; ordered 30 oysters! And soju, and fries. We finished everything even tho we had lunch an hour before. I will be coming back several times before I head back to SoCal.
